Better to check and be wrong, than to not check and be wrong.
Believing a man may be in the possession of an incendiary device, a plane was diverted from New York's La Guardia airport to make an emergency landing at the Philadelphia International Airport this morning. It turned out to be a misunderstanding for the man was using a Orthodox Jewish prayer device.
When the plane landed it was met by a whole slew of firetrucks and police officers. Authorities inspected the plane in a remote section of the tarmac after all of the passengers disembarked from the plane.
