Democrats: Caught in the Act

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Let me see if I have all of this straight. Obama tells Jay Leno he bowls like the Special Olympics, Rahm Emanuel calls his fellow Democrats attacking conservative Democrats a bunch of "f***ing retards," Obama tells people not to fly in private jets, Obama repeatedly tells people not to go to Las Vegas, Obama tells people Fox News is the enemy, Obama tells people not to watch MSNBC, Reid only accepts Obama as a black man because he is "light skinned and does not speak with a Negro dialect," Bill Clinton says ten years ago Obama would be fetching him coffee, the average American to Obama are a bunch of gun and religion clinging yokels, and Michelle Obama has a real problem with you if you are overweight and feels it is the government's job to make sure you and your kids eat what they say you should eat. Oh, and John Edwards, according to a new book, is an egocentric egomaniac willing to do anything to lie and cheat to get into the White House, and cover up his infidelity.

Could you imagine if it had been a bunch of Republicans saying and doing these things?

In reality, this is not a surprise. The Democrats just got caught in the act of being themselves.
