Monster Storm Sets Sights On Mid-Atlantic States

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Washington DC is mobilizing the National Guard in preparation for a new storm that is a combination of two storms that recently trekked across the Midwest and the South. The storm approaching the East Coast is larger than the last one, and is expected to also bring in record amounts of ice and snow.

32 different airports lie in the storm zone, and are bracing for massive delays and cancellations.

In many cases, folks haven't even dug their cars out from the last storm that dumped over two feet of snow in some areas. Now, three, maybe four, days of heavy winter weather is literally freezing legislative action on Capitol Hill for the rest of the week.

Wow, that global "warming" is sure being a booger, isn't it?
