Barack Obama Disregards Constitution While Interviewed by Brett Baier, Fox News

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The Huffington Post perceived the interview of Barack Obama by Brett Baier of Fox News as being one of Brett Baier constantly interrupting Barack Obama and not letting the President complete his answers.

In truth, Barack Obama was a horrid interview subject, not answering the questions, and rambling on in lengthy responses that were more about being campaign-style talking points, than answering any of Baier's questions directly. Obama, a man that is apparently very ignorant of television time schedules (remember, the President is very Obama-centric, and rules and procedures mean nothing to him), could care less about anything other than campaigning for his promotion of a "ruling class in Washington" during that interview.

The responses should have been short, and to the point.

In an effort to get a reasonable answer out of Obama, or at least to move things along to other questions, Baier found it necessary to interrupt Obama's bumbling mumblings in the hopes to "get the most for our buck."

When questions regarding the Slaughter Solution, a sleezy tactic that may basically allow the Democrats to pass health care legislation without a vote should they utilize the option, were pointed toward Obama, as with the rest of the interview, Barry Hussein Sotero Obama rambled on about anything but the subject at hand.

Finally, Obama made a very telling statement in the hopes of ending the barrage of questions surrounding the Slaughter Solution.

"...I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or the Senate."

The statement, as did the redistribution of wealth comment with Joe the Plumber on the campaign trail, revealed much about Barack Obama's character and agenda.

The U.S. Constitution is the basis of the procedural rules of this nation, and Barack Obama took an oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution. His statement essentially says he could care less about the journey, just as long as he gets what he wants, which was another way of saying that the Constitution means nothing to him.

To not worry about the unconstitutional tactics of Congress is to fail to uphold his oath regarding protecting the U.S. Constitution.

Barack Obama does not worry about the procedural rules in the House or the Senate because to him the Ends justifies the Means. The Constitution is a roadblock to politicians like Obama who yearns for acheiving a more authoritarian role for government. Obama, like the Congressional Democrats, is willing to manipulate the law any way possible to implement their unconstitutional big government vision for America, and ultimately replace the Constitutional form of government with something that more closely resembles the failing socialistic atrocities of Europe.

As a former Senator, it is not like Obama does not understand the procedural rules, and how they are not allowed to circumvent the Constitution.

Article I, Section 7, Clause 2: "Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate. . ."

If the House can simply "deem" a bill passed, what is to stop them from deeming tyranny? The Constitution requires a vote, and as an officer of the Constitution it is (as per his oath) President Obama's duty to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution.

Obama, however, has no interest in what the Constitution says. In his own words, he doesn't care much about the procedural rules offered in that document.

Barry is okay with the Deem and Pass proposal. Certainly, a pesky little thing like the Constitution that requires a vote must mean something to him.

If the Democrats had the votes to pass their precious health care legislation, and these votes only need come from their own party (remember, Republicans don't have enough votes to stop this tyrannical piece of legislation) the leftists wouldn't be entertaining sleezy tactics, or using bribery and payoffs to buy votes. They would just vote on it and pass it. They don't have the votes because even members of their own party see this thing as a travesty, and they haven't had the votes for an entire fourteen months. As a result of the Democrats not having enough votes to pass this bill legally, they are willing to subvert the Constitution to get their tyrannical, unconstitutional, unAmerican health care legislation passed.

The American Form of Government for the last 234 years has made this country the most prosperous nation on the face of the Earth. To go against the limiting principles this Republic was founded upon, as enumerated in the U.S. Constitution, will destroy our nation, collapse our economy, and take away our precious liberties.

As the old saying goes, don't try to fix what ain't broke.

Or as I say, don't replace the engine when all you need is an oil change and a tune-up.

Obama and the Democrats forget that the Constitution is a contract between the federal government and the American People, and that what the Democrats are doing is a breach of that contract, and will not be tolerated.
