Unemployment Benefits Not Extended by Congress

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Congress was so mcuh in a hurry to go on Spring Break that they forgot to pass the extension to unemployment benefits. As a result, undreds of thousands of jobless Americans could once again face a disruption in their unemployment benefits.

Of course the Congressional Democrats have shifted the blame over to the GOP, since Colburn has pulled a Bunning tactic, demanding they use the Democrat idea of PayGo before passing the legislation.
