OBAMA FLASHBACK: A SUPREME COURT NOMINEE WITH NO JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRES EXTREME SCRUTINY

Harriet Myers needed additional scrutiny according to Obama because of her lack of experience, but Kagan doesn't. In a word: Hypocrisy. The fact that Kagan has never been a judge does not overly concern me. The Constitution does not require a Supreme Court Justice nominee to have been a judge before. But the fact that "lack of experience" was a big deal with Myers, but is not with Kagan, shows us that the Democrat Party's actions are lopsided, and ideologically based.
