When considering the current actions of the Obama Administration, it is important to keep the following in mind:
One of the goals of the U.S. Constitution was to guard against the concentration of power. When power is concentrated, things go wrong. If this isn't corrected, this exceptional nation will be unable to protect the people from tyranny - because it will be a tyranny.
Recognizing the unconstitutional manner of governance we are seeing in Washington, it makes me very angry. This anger is what spurned the Tea Party into existence. In a sense, as accused, the Tea Party movement is a rebellious group. They are rebelling against everything happening that is against the original intent of the Founding Fathers. I feel more rebellious against these people in control of the federal government who have brought a foreign style of governance into our nation. I feel this rebelliousness against the federal government now more than ever, mainly because it is getting worse and worse and worse.
What really bugs me is when we ask, "Where in the Constitution is the federal government authorized to do these things," we get responses like the one from Pelosi. . .
"Are you serious? Are you serious?"
Yes. Very serious.
