Democrats Refuse Townhall Meetings

It is actually kind of funny when one realizes how spineless members of the Left truly are.

The New York Times is reporting that Democrats are having invitation-only Town Hall meetings, or they are skipping the meetings all together. After all, the last thing these politicians want is for the people they are supposed to be serving getting all upset and telling them how to do their job.

Apparently the cowards of the Democrat Party realize that the electorate remains angry at their anti-American policies, and the liberal politicians just don't want to hear what the people have to say.

Sort of like your kid in college, after maxing out the credit card you gave him, and still asking for money, refusing to come home for the holidays because he knows he's going to catch your wrath.

The politicians would rather just keep doing what they think is best for you, even though you disagree, and even though their spending has America on course with economic disaster.

Surely, the last thing they want to hear is how upset the people are that the U.S. Debt is now 90% of GDP, or how bothered you are about the fact that they are considering entering into an international treaty on small fire arms that will compromise our 2nd Amendment rights. It's bad enough the folks are upset that our debt has reached $13 trillion, and that is not even considering the emergence of the numbers that tell the true cost of the very unpopular Health Care legislation these idiots passed.

Besides, it's not like the Democrats care about what you have to say, anyway.
