President Obama, widely characterized as a snob who thinks he is some kind of elitist, has realized it is time to try to look like he can relate to the people. The economy is struggling, and getting worse under his ignorant watch, and to make it look like he cares he has decided to let the people know that he has felt the affects of the recession as well.
The kid's college funds have been rocked by a difficult stock market, and "it was just a few years ago that we had high credit card balances, we had two kids, thinking about college. We had our own retirement accounts, wondering if we were going to be able to get enough assets in there."
Wow, Michelle might have two wear a dress twice in the same year, and Barry might have to cancel those concerts and golf games. . . oh, wait, the taxpayers pay for all of that. . . never mind.
