When One Spill Is Stopped, Another Continues

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The cap on the leaking oil well in the Gulf of Mexico seems to be holding so far, according to BP. It is a temporary fix, designed to hopefully hold until relief wells are complete, and more permanent measures can be deployed.

There are no signs of new leaks, and the rising pressure beneath the cap is evidence that so far it is holding.

For the first time since April 20 oil isn't spewing into the Gulf - However, the Obama Administration continues to blow unabated.
