Germany's Fears of Terrorism Results in Closing of famous glass dome at Berlin's Reichstag to visitors

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The glass dome atop the Berlin Reichstag is world famous, and has been closed to all visitors as fears increase regarding a possible terror attack against Berlin. The building serves as home of Germany's parliament, and is now considered to be a major target for Islamic terrorists. With the closing of the dome to the public, security measures have increased exponentially.

The German Government has indicated they have evidence supporting the possibility of a terror plot, so therefore they have also increased security around airports and railway stations as well.

It is believed that at least two members of a jihadi hit squad are in Berlin.

This comes not long after Merkel had announced she believes Germany will be overtaken by Islamism within a generation.
