North Korea Joins Iran in Nuclear Defiance

By Douglas V. Gibbs

North Korea has unveiled a new facility they will be using for enriching uranium. The nuclear plant was shows to a visiting American nuclear scientist last
week. As with Iran, it is believed that this facility will be used to expand North Korea's nuclear arsenal or build a far more powerful type of atomic bomb.

The American scientist, Siegfried S. Hecker, is a Stanford professor. He said in an interview that he had been "stunned" by the sophistication of the new plant.

The potential places more pressure on the Obama administration, and verifies that Obama's peace through appeasement policy is a failed one.
