I am a firm believer that if we are in danger as a nation, and we have identified the enemy, we need to take proper precautions to protect our citizens against that danger. Therefore, on the surface, I agree with body scans and pat-downs, and if the Muslims don't like them, they can "not" fly. Flying is not a right, it is a privilege.
However, there is a fine line between proper security measures, and going over the line.
When nuns and children are being searched when if questioned it would be obvious they were not a threat, and when the TSA agents are so unprofessional as to treat their job as a joke, or as a sexual game, the security measures are flawed.
Security is important, and I believe that if done professionally, and with an understanding of who the enemy is, security measures can be an efficient way of protecting this nation.
Just ask Israel.
