Muammar Gaddafi, the leader of Libya, has called for the uprisings in a number of Muslim countries to continue into Palestine, and for the Palestinians to revolt against Israel.
Protests have erupted in a number of Muslim nations, and the fears that radical extremist Islamist governments are going to replace otherwise moderate systems are rising - as is the danger against Israel.
Said Gaddafi on state television: "This is a time of popular revolutions."
He also said: "All Arab states which have relations with Israel are cowardly regimes."
Gaddafi also issued a call to Muslim countries to join forces against Western powers.
