Seems to me that that woman's husband is laid off because Harley Davidson had to make a business decision. Making a profit is not about greed, it's the purpose of business. Why take the risks involved with running a business if you are not getting a profit from it.
The taxpayers are not running a business. And we don't have a seat at the public bartgaining table when the union uses involuntarily collected dues to elect legislators who will play for pay.
And that's why this woman is probably one of the 1500 workers who will receive their layoff slips soon. Because the taxpayers are out of money and the unions are greedy, for power, power and more power.
