UPDATE: Death toll now at 124.
The count of people dead is at 89 since a tornado destroyed much of the city of Joplin, Missouri, last night. A quarter of the town's buildings suffers from major damage from the massive storm.
Reports of tornadoes have come in from around the Midwest, including massive strikes in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and Tennessee.
