Weiner Admits He's a Liar

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Weiner's Twitter picture of his under-garment draped package to some gal in Washington was not worth reporting. It was the typical immoral activity of a Democrat. I still don't get why these people think that sending some woman a pic of your junk will somehow turn her on.

Stupidity.

When caught, like all good Democrats (from Clinton to Edwards), Weiner denied any wrong doing, and even went so far as to concoct a story about how his Twitter account had been hacked, which in turn made sure his grey underwear over his woohoo picture was sent to everyone following his Tweets. He even said he wasn't sure if the picture of the bulge belonged to his. . . uh, hem, body.

The truth, however, caught up with Weiner.

Now, after all of those denials, Weiner has admitted to lying about his bulging underpants pic.

Representative Anthony Wiener confessed that he indeed did tweet the pic, and added that his attempt at infidelity with this one was not the first. Yet, despite lying, cheating, and being an overall scum bag (he's a Democrat, what did you expect?), Weiner also says he will not resign.

If this had been a Republican, he'd have been forced to resign, the media and the leftists would have already destroyed him, and the GOP guy's political career would be over.

The party of character destruction, however, leaves their own alone, usually.

Though House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi called for an ethics committee investigation into whether Weiner broke House rules, I am figuring that if Weiner is found guilty, he will get the same treatment as Rangel. The punishment will be censure, and the liberal Democrats will give him a standing ovation after their punishment is administered.

Whether or not the New Yorker will run for mayer of New York City in 2013, as many have been expecting, remains to be seen.

Then again, remember, he's a Democrat. Mayor Barry got re-elected in Washington DC while serving time. Representative Jefferson of Louisiana had a freezer full of ill-gotten cash, and won re-election.

No standards, for these people, means no consequences, I suppose.

Even though character is supposed to be an important ingredient for a Congressman, Weiner states that he doesn't feel the scandal affects his work as a lawmaker.

Goes back to that "no standards" thing.

When referring to the voters, Weiner said, "I'm going to work very hard to win back their trust."

Once again, a Republican would be toast. A Democrat? Ah, shucks, just a momentary set-back.

Weiner claims he never used government devices for his exchanges with women (just like Clinton claimed oral is not sex, and Edwards said his campaign contributions were from friends, so they weren't technically campaign contributions). These liberals lie with such ease. They are elitists. They think they are above all of this.

So much for these officials following any rules. . . House rules say a member "shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House."

If that was followed to the letter, there would be no Democrats left in the House.
