Boehner Bill Stopped in House over Debt Ceiling

The Democrat threat that if the debt ceiling isn't raised we will default is ridiculous. That would be like me telling my wife that if we didn't get a raise in the limit of a department store card, we wouldn't be able to pay our mortgage.

The Democrats want the debt ceiling raised simply so that they can spend more.

If the debt ceiling is not raised, it would force them to cut spending, and spending is one addiction they don't want to shake.

It has been deficit spending by the Democrats, and establishment Republicans, that has put us into this fiscal mess. It is their spending that put us at risk regarding our credit rating. And now these same people cry that if we don't raise the debt limit so that they can spend more money, we (Tea Party Conservatives) are the ones putting the economy in jeopardy, and somehow don't care about the economy.

These leftists are despicable.
