Success By Failure – The Way Forward For President Obama

By J.J. Jackson

Last week President Obama proclaimed a successful conclusion to U.S. involvement in Iraq with troops scheduled to be home by the end of the year. The President and his surrogates have not been shy about reminding everyone who will listen these days, which are not people many by the look of things, that this fulfills his ardent campaign promise to do so. Of course the fact that this “success” only came about because his Administration failed to negotiate an extension, which they wanted, of said troops to remain in Iraq is not all that important to him.

But wait, maybe this is a good thing. Success by failure could be a stunning, well, success if only President Obama were to implement it on a larger scale throughout his policy initiatives. Think about it for a moment.

President Obama wants to raise taxes on the producers. Yet his failure to do so would successfully keep more money in the hands of those who know what purpose it would serve best rather than confiscating it to be used by government to fund boondoggles like Solyndra.

President Obama is currently keeping the regulatory agencies under his control from speedily approving drilling permits in the Gulf of Mexico. Yet if he were to fail at this, and permits were more quickly approved, new sources of energy could be tapped sooner and successfully help wean America off of foreign oil.

President Obama wants the Supreme Court to uphold his signature achievement; Obamacare. Yet should his Justice Department fail, millions upon millions of Americans would succeed in being freed from the oppressive yoke of a national heath care system that would invariably lead to rationing. Something, mind you, now happening under that other great example of socialized government medicine called Medicare in case you had not heard. States are now limiting the number of days those on the program can stay in the hospital [1].

President Obama wants the Occupy Wall Street crowd to succeed in bringing down the United States banking and investment firms. But if this assortment of self-professed communists, socialists, NAZIs [2] and racists fail, those of us who have scrimped, sacrificed, and saved will be able to succeed at bettering our financial well being so that we will not need the incompetent Nanny State to take care of us.

President Obama wants to keep spending hundreds upon hundred of billions of dollars more than America collects in taxes every year. Yet his failure to do just that would quickly succeed in putting America back on solid financial footing.

President Obama wants to maintain the status quo and continue to give people things they have not worked to obtain. Yet his failure would mean the looters would have to quickly become producers or suffer a horrible fate. This would propel America forward towards success as human ingenuity is invariably unleashed as millions of looters do not want to suffer said horrible fate stop being looters.

And lastly President Obama wants to win a second term in the White House. Yet his failure to do so would give America a chance to succeed without a man at the helm who has absolutely no idea what he is doing.

I think that all Americans who love their country should embrace this plan and pressure President Obama to adopt it with all due haste.
