Beacon Power Corporation - Another Green Company the Received Federal Stimulus Money - Files for Bankruptcy

Beacon Power Corp. is an energy storage company that received $43 million from the federal government. Beacon Power filed for bankruptcy after struggling to raise private financing.

Green energy is a losing bet, and the government can't make it succeed. It is up to the market to decide, not the government. Then again, is this about green energy, or is it about giving money to companies that have political connections?
