Army Helicopter Crash in Washington

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Four soldiers have died after two U.S. Army helicopters crashed at the Lewis-McChord base at Rainier, Washington. The identities of the victims have not been released, and won't be until relatives have been notified.

The details of the crash does not reveal if the aircraft collided or crashed separately. An investigation is pending.

The helicopters were OH-58D Kiowa Warriors, a single-engine, four-bladed aircraft used for armed reconnaissance - nicknamed a scout helicopter.

Prayers go out to the families of the victims.
