Obama Reducing Number of National Guard Troops at Mexican Border by 75%


Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution tasks the federal government with the duty to protect each of the States from invasion. To accomplish this the border must be secured.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 15 states that the Congress shall have the power to provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections, and repel Invasions - Meaning that if it is necessary to protect each State from invasion by calling forth the organized militia, a.k.a. National Guard, then the federal government must.

The Obama administration could care less about the rule of law, could care less about the damage done to our system by the influx of illegal aliens, and in fact wants these people crossing the border in the hopes that they will turn into votes for him.

The border is not just being invaded by illegals. One in three illegal aliens crossing the border are of Middle Eastern descent. Furthermore, the war going on between the drug cartels is spilling across the border. Drug cartels and smugglers of illegal aliens own parts of our border, and are projecting their power into the United States.

Barack Obama fears losing the Hispanic vote by daring to act upon his Constitutional duty of securing the border. He cares more about catering to groups, and getting votes, than he does about the safety of American People.

- The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense confirmed during a Tuesday morning conference call with members of Congress that the administration will be reducing the National Guard troop presence on the border with Mexico by 75 percent, according to Texas Republican Rep. Ted Poe. . .
