Allen West Compares Democrat Party to National Socialists

By Douglas V. Gibbs

I remember recently when one of the leftist loons that leaves comments on this site called the communists of the Soviet Union "hardline rightwingers."  He has also called Nazism "rightwing." Yet, the liberal progressive Democrat Party platform has more in common with both authoritarian ideologies than any other political party in America, aside from the communists, socialists, and Nazis (although the democrats are nearly pretty even with those parties at this point in history).

Just for a laugh, here is that idiotic comment Tom left:

Two points. First, the Soviet Union wasn't "lefty". It was a hard line, right wing, authoritarian regime, not unlike North Korea. That's not the type of government any western Liberal advocates. When you make that sort of claim, it's just propaganda. Second, the pilgrims to America did not invent the "free market". It goes back just a weeeee bit further in time than that. on Terra Nova a Journey Into Liberal Propaganda ... Tom on 9/29/11

His point about the free market was a laugher, too. I didn't say America invented the free market, but that in what would become America, the free market principles emerged during the early colonies after a more communal system like that which the Democrats push in today's world led to starvation, and failure of many of the colonies.

Anyway, any loon that denies liberalism's connection to leftist ideologies like communism is funny enough. . . but to call it rightwing?

There are two political spectrums out there. The American standard is 0% government to the far right, and 100% government to the far left. Based on that scale, the U.S. Constitution is dead center. The liberals use something else. Theirs is similar to France's right before the French Revolution, where those that want change, secularism, and "democracy" are on the left, and those that want no change (protect the monarchy), supports the state church (religious), and strict moral rules through a nearly theocratic system are on the right.

The Left, under that scale, won out, and what followed was anarchy, collapse, and ultimately a dictator at the helm of France. The "Right" of that age wasn't much better.

Liberalism fails whenever it is tried.

On either scale, the Soviet Union would be considered "lefty."

But enough about Tom's lunacy. . . let's visit Allen West's willingness to say it like it is!

Allen West is a congressman out of Florida, and I believe would make a great President of the United States. A retired military man, West does not adhere to any components of the concept of political correctness.  He's conservative, understands the danger of Islamism, and says it like it is.

Recently, Allen West drew the ire of the Democrat Party and some Jewish groups when he said, "If Joseph Goebbels was around, he'd be very proud of the Democrat Party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine. Let's be honest, you know, some of the people in the media are complicit with this and enabling them to get that type of message out."

Even though West never said anything about the Holocaust, because his comparison was regarding political similarities, not the genocidal nature of Nazism, the SunSentinal.com wrote of Allen Wests' comment, "The remark brought a barrage of outrage, with some demanding that West apologize for his statement. 'This is not the first time that Rep. West has evoked an offensive Holocaust analogy,' Andrew Rosenkranz, ADL Florida regional director said in a statement. 'In August 2010, West made an inappropriate Holocaust analogy, and ADL strongly urged West to repudiate his remarks and to prospectively refrain from making Nazi references or comparisons."

Wow, they never got so upset when the Left was making Nazi comparisons to George W. Bush.

Carol Flatto, chairman of the South Florida Chapter of Americans for a Safe Israel, got it, though - she stated, "Congressman West was citing Goebbels' name as a superlative metaphor for propaganda. Goebbels was the personification of the master propagandist, the creator of 'The Big Lie' — if you repeat a lie often enough, people will accept it as truth. West's critics are using the Holocaust for their own political purpose in a 'Goebbels-esque' manner, which proves his description of their tactics to be accurate and appropriate."

Others got it too. . .

According to SunSentinal.com: Joseph M. Sabag, executive director Florida Region Zionist Organization of America said the politicians expressing outrage and condemning West "are exaggerating by suggesting that his inappropriate comment about a Nazi leader is necessarily a reference to the Holocaust and should therefore be taken as an insult to the Jewish Community. When it comes to standing up for Israel and the Jewish people, Congressman West is among the most honest, dedicated, brave, intelligent, sincere and supportive friends anywhere," Sabag said. "If these critics are pro-Israel as well, they should help him correct his statement and move on rather than intentionally misguide the Jewish community in an effort to tear him down.

West is simply trying to expose the great liberal lie for what it is. The liberal propaganda machine is doing what it can to combat him - confirming him to be right in everything he has said.
