Perry Out, Endorses Gingrich

Gov. Rick Perry of Texas dropped out of the Republican presidential race here on Thursday and announced his endorsement for the candidacy of Newt Gingrich, a man he called a “conservative visionary.”

With Perry gone it will lessen the division of the conservative vote. In other words, it will hurt Romney. With it turning out that Santorum actually won Iowa, if Newt Gingrich wins South Carolina, it could make things very interesting.
