After a wonderful career that was tainted by heavy drug usage, Whitney Houston has died at 48. Though cause of death, and the location, is unknown, I am willing to guess that the death may have had something to do with drugs.
Her incredible voice took the industry by storm, and inspired a number of other singers like Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey. After a tumultuous marriage to fellow artist Bobby Brown, and years of drug abuse, Houston's beautiful voice became rough, and unable to hit the high notes. She will be missed, but will be remembered as one of the most successful female singers in history.
