Freezing, Warming, Just Another Environmentalist Scam

The consensus over Climate Change is not so solid anymore. Scientists have been jumping off the sinking ship of Global Warming right and left. The models have been manipulated, the lies have been exposed, and time has proven that all of the hard left environmentalist prophecies of ecological doom and gloom has not come to pass. Of course this is not the first time the environmentalists have been on an "and you too can save the planet by doing what we tell you" kick.  Back in the seventies we were told the planet was doomed to enter another ice age. I was taught that in school. We were all convinced that the place to be was going to be the tropics. Otherwise, we were going to be a bunch of ice pops.  Now, it's all about warming.

Despite the evidence to the contrary, Obama's Energy Secretary Steven Chu has decided to put himself on record as saying that the scientific evidence of climate change is getting more and more powerful.

In what reality?

The Climategate Emails have revealed collusion among scientists to force the data to fit their apocalyptic prophecies and visions. Liberal politicians continue to ignore the evidence that the planet warms and cools on natural cycles, and continue to push through global warming legislation giving the Energy Department and Environmental Protection Agency unconstitutional powers to regulate our energy usage, and other activities they think influences the planet.

Chu, liberal to the core, and fully indoctrinated by the religion of Climate Change and radical environmentalism, said at an energy forum, “Over the last couple of years, the dispassionate, hard science evidence has been mounting, increasing. . . we don’t understand everything” and that in past years scientists have actually underestimated the pace of some changes, including sea level rise.

Then the whopper was dealt: “It is rising even faster than we thought. The number of violent rainstorms have increased faster than we thought.”

These people actually believe that our less than one percent influence is changing the climate. These people actually believe that to save the planet all you have to do is follow their misguided, manipulated, science, and do as they tell you; or drive a Prius.

Save the planet. . . be a mindless sheep obeying environmental dictators from the government. Go ahead. It will only cost you your freedom.

According to the article at The Hill reporting on Chu's misguided ramblings, by a reporter that believes the lies through and through (apparently), the vast majority of scientists say global warming is occurring and human activities are a key factor.

A majority of scientists? They are dropping like flies. The reality is upon them, and they are abandoning the global warming scam faster than you can say "furious" (to borrow a line from O'Keefe).

The regulations being proposed by the Climate Change radicals are unconstitutional, tyrannical, and destructive to our system of liberty.  The economic impact of the draconian legislation by the environmentalists will cause harm to our economy that we cannot afford to endure. Green energy has failed, the green technology businesses Obama's federal government has been funding are going bankrupt, and the market wants nothing to do with the insanity the leftists peddle.

Despite the madness, however, the liberal democrats plan to keep dumping taxpayer dollars into the black hole of green technology, hoping that eventually the green energy businesses will stop going bankrupt.

Chu calls the government's push for green energy "moving forward." I call it, "Abandoning what works."

Oil is the most efficient source of energy we have. It is less expensive, and its environmental impact has been greatly exaggerated by the "save the planet" liberals. We have plenty of oil right here in the United States if we would just drill for it, and evidence is mounting that oil is not a fossil fuel, but an abiotic substance the Earth continuously replenishes.

I am wondering how long it will be before the cycle with these environmental authoritarians comes around again to the theory that we are heading for an ice age.
