The Will of Allah is War

By Douglas V. Gibbs

On the Fox News website, under an image that, if clicked, would lead to a video where U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice tries to explain why there has been violence in two dozen countries against U.S. embassies and consulates, the question is posed: Did US policy or anti-Muslim film spark Mideast violence?

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has explained that the violence is not due to Washington's national security and foreign affairs policies.

In the video Susan Rice explains why U.S. policy is not to blame, and how blame does belong with the "Innocence of Muslims" film that has littered YouTube with trailers that have, according to Rice, offended Islam.

The whole problem here is that the premise only allows for one or the other. We are being told that either U.S. policy is to blame, or this low budget film by previously unknown people is to blame.

We are given a choice. It's America's fault, or it's the films fault.

In reality, the answer is "neither."

Ayn Rand once said, "Every tyrant needs a scapegoat."

The fool believes the scapegoat when it is presented.

The tyranny of the false prophet Muhammad was planning to use violence whether there was a film to blame, a Koran-burning preacher to blame, a cartoon to blame, or simply something some non-Muslim made against their laughable cult religion.

Unlike the Holy Bible, which reads more like a history book than a list of doctrinal commands, the Koran is to be taken, according to the loudest Imams and the mainstream Muslim scholars, as literal as possible with each passage being a presentation of theocratic doctrine.

Jihad is the mainstream Muslim belief.

If this is all about a film, and not a protest against America itself, then why was Obama burned in effigy? Then how is it that these violent protests, or at least the early ones, were premeditated and coordinated?

This is only the beginning.

If we don't respond appropriately to nip this in the bud, this is our version of the Nazis grabbing Czechoslovakia and Poland.

The liberal left is acting like Neville Chamberlain, doing what they can to appease this enemy, and refusing to believe Islam is on a war footing. This has nothing to do with the film and everything to do with what the people think is the will of Allah.

They believe the will of Allah is war, but if they face obstacles, they believe his will is not with them, so they back off. But when they succeed in their violence, it is their belief that Allah's will is in their favor, and they step it up.

In other words, the way to stop this is through a strong military response.

If this gets worse, the democrats will go down in history as fools that were unable to recognize the clear reality before them.
