Diana Serafin is the person behind Measure "N" in Murrieta, California, which resulted in the voters banning red light cameras in the Southern California city. After she collected the necessary signatures to put the issue on the ballot, she was sued by an individual who refused to reveal the source of funding behind his lawsuit. It was believed the money source came from the red light camera company. A judge dismissed the case, and the people were allowed to vote on it. The measure passed.
After the red-light camera ban went into place, the city turned off the cameras, but did not remove them. The sensors remained active. Then, eleven days ago, a judge decided that the people do not have a right to petition their government for a redress of grievances. Judge Daniel Ottolia stomped all over the will of the people, placing the political class above the people, and the rights of the people were denied by a single individual wearing a black robe.
Meanwhile, in Sacramento, there is a push to eliminate due process in regards to red light cameras, as well. AB666, also known as The Devil's Bill:

- You Will Have to Pay a Fee If You Want Your Case Heard in Court
- Expands the Use of Photo Enforcement to Other Traffic Violations
Diana Serafin is a fighter, and is not going to take all of this sitting down. Tonight, at the Murrieta City Council Meeting at 6:00 pm, she, and a large group of supporters, are going to demand that the City of Murrieta fight for the vote of the people. It is expected to be a full house tonight, and the fight has received national attention.
This could have national impact.
