When Down Is Up: American Marxists

By Don Jans

MARXIST/PROGRESSIVES CONSIDER THIS GOVERNMENT RELIANCE A SUCCESS

This was in the news today.

Almost as many people signed up with the federal government's permanent worker disability program as got jobs in March, according to two sets of government data, continuing a troubling trend throughout the Obama recovery. Last month, 81,804 workers left the workforce to join the Social Security Disability Insurance program. So far this year, nearly a quarter million workers have joined the program. Over the past four years, 4 million left the workforce to go on disability. Even after accounting for those who dropped out of the program because of death or retirement, the ranks of the disabled have shot up more than 1.4 million under Obama. Today, the ranks of the disabled number 8.8 million, and when you add in children and spouses, the number climbs to 10.9 million. Economists generally agree that the anemic recovery under President Obama has driven legions of workers who have been unable to find work to seek out the SSDI program.

In a recent blog on the March jobs report, which showed a paltry increase of 88,000 new jobs, we wrote about the over 600,000 American workers who gave up and dropped out of the work force in that month. This brings to almost 10,000,000 American workers who have dropped out of the work force since the Marxist/Progressives assumed office. These numbers, plus the increased disability numbers are frightening to business people, economists and freedom loving Americans who fear for their independence because of this change from a self-reliant society to government reliance.

Despite the rhetoric of the administration, these are the results they want. We know this because this is the philosophy in which they believe. Their defenders say this is an absurd assertion on my part. The defenders claim nobody would want these results. When we understand the Marxist Philosophy we find that people do want these results. The policies of the Marxist/Progressives have brought about these results. If they wanted different results, they would change these policies and allow the capitalistic system to flourish. They would reduce tax rates; they would reduce strangling regulations; they would encourage self-reliance and independence and they would reduce waste, fraud, they would stop rewarding their donors with huge loans to already bankrupt companies and they would stop adding to the national debt in such a reckless and destructive manner.

The results they desire are the ones they are achieving. We know this because they continue to do exactly what Marx told them to do. Marx said it is the growing economy that causes oppression and inequality. It is a self-reliant and independent people who believe people should be rewarded based on their efforts and results that cause all conflict in society. In order to eliminate this suffering and conflict, people must understand conformity and total sharing of the wealth based on need and not production must be the rule. This means confiscatory taxation, government reliance of all citizens and total regulation of all things for the good of the community as defined by the Marxist/Progressives. This will fundamentally transform us from a capitalistic society to a fair and just classless society. Remember, this administration is what they do and not what they say; that is, they are Marxist/Progressives.
