The Fighting Hawks at D-Day

With today being the anniversary of D-Day, I wanted to recommend a bit of reading.  An independent author wrote and published a book based on the historical events surrounding the invasion of Normandy in World War II with much of the military insight based on her son's military service.  It is a fictional account about D-Day with a lot of factual information mixed in.  A great little book for the history buff.
