Has it been a smooth ride the whole way? Of course not. But after being married as long as we have, we are at a very good place in our marriage. . . and in fact I think we love each other more now than ever before. The joke goes, we used to argue about money, and the kids. The kids are grown up and gone, and she went out and got a job. We're good.
