Some call it "ethnic cleansing," but what is going on in Egypt more resembles "religious cleansing." Since the clashes between the military and the Muslim Brotherhood has begun, the Islamists of the Brotherhood have killed hundreds of Christians, and have torched over fifty churches.
In one of those attacks, the Muslim Brotherhood attempted to burn nuns alive while they were still inside their church. Nuns fled a convent in Suez that was set ablaze. The convent has a school, a sort of orphanage, with a dispensary, and as the sisters were working, Islamists set the buildings on fire. They began with the church, and then threw fiery devices into the dispensary. Eventually, every building, and the nearby trees, were all on fire.
The Islamists also worked to burn Christian schools at the facility, and other ones nearby belonging to the Franciscans. The school at the convent has around 500 children.
This kind of murderous actions against Christian neighborhoods and facilities is not isolated to Suez. Around Egypt Christian homes, churches, schools and other facilities have been under attack.
And what is the American response?
The Obama administration has stated that they oppose the military cracking down on the Islamists that are protesting, and killing Christians, in support of the Muslim Brotherhood. The media has been silent, in support of Obama's position, as a result.
You heard that right. The democrats in power are supporting the slaughter of Christians by Islamists by coming down in opposition to the Egyptian military for trying to stop the slaughter.
It has been Obama's policies that have brought about this "Day of Rage," and now they are doing what they can to keep the killing in high gear until the Muslim jihadists finally gain full control of Egypt. . . and the Muslim World.
Chaos by design.
