Fox News: Hannity Out, Pro-Gay Agenda In

By Douglas V. Gibbs

I've been telling you folks here on Political Pistachio, and on my radio program (Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs, Saturdays at 2pm Pacific on KCAA 1050 AM, San Bernardino, CA - KCAAradio.com - Podcasts Available, too) that Fox News is not a conservative network.  They are a network that has some conservative hosts.  Now, in a stunning move that will simply open the door for a more conservative network to rise and replace them at the top of the ratings, Fox News has moved very popular Sean Hannity from his primetime slot, because he is "Pro-Family and Pro-Traditional Marriage," and he is being replaced by Pro-Gay Agenda Megyn Kelly.

"America's Survival, Inc." has released a report revealing that pushing Hannity out of his slot for a Pro-Gay replacement is not the only sign of a leftward drift of the Fox News network, but replacing Hannity with pro-homosexual advocate Megyn Kelly is definitely among the most eye-opening.

As Megyn Kelly said in her interview of an evangelical conservative pastor, “This country has a long history of discrimination against certain groups. Eventually we wind up getting it right. Right? Against women, against blacks, the civil rights movement and so on. And in justifying that discrimination when it was in place, some folks turn to the Bible and turn to their religious beliefs and said we have to have slavery because it's in the Bible.

“Women have to be second-class citizens because that's in the Bible. Blacks and whites can't get married because that's in the Bible. That wound up in a case. A judge wrote that in an opinion, which the Supreme Court ultimately struck that down, saying, ‘That's not right, judge -- the Equal Protection clause says you can't do that.’ Why is gay marriage any different?”

Viewers should remember that it was Kelly... who set up Bill O'Reilly's 'Thump the Bible' hubbub by stating that in her prior interview with Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, she did not hear any 'compelling' arguments against same-sex 'marriage.' This led O'Reilly to enthusiastically agree and make his famous remark (which many Christians and conservatives found pejorative)."

Fox News, if they are in business to make money, just lost a lot of viewers, and the sojourn to places like the One America News Network and The Blaze is only just beginning.
