In the eternal struggle that is fire versus ice, the Greenstremists' team just fumbled again on their own goal line:

An unusually cold Arctic summer has resulted in almost a million more square miles of ocean covered with ice compared to the same time last year, bucking predictions that global warming would result in the disappearance of the ice cap by 2013.

According to the MailOnline, Arctic sea ice averaged 2.35 million square miles in August 2013 compared to the low point of 1.32 million square miles recorded in September 2012.

"We are already in a cooling trend, which I think will continue for the next 15 years at least. There is no doubt the warming of the 1980s and 1990s has stopped," Anastasios Tsonis of the University of Wisconsin told the Mail.

A few points:

1) The Arctic icecap has doubled - in a single year - when it was supposed to have disappeared altogether.  Not only does this call BS on global warming dogma, but it also further exposes the "billions and billions of years" premise of uniformitarianism and evolution as the fraud it is.  Dramatic cosmic and climatic changes do not require vast eons of time and in fact happen very quickly, and those dramatic changes don't all flow in one politically convenient direction.

2) The warming of the '80s and '90s stopped over a decade ago.  The American media simply have embargoed this fact and continued to bullhorn Greenstremist propaganda because their corrupt Marxist agenda so heavily depends upon it.

3) Hmmm; fifteen years of warming, fifteen years of stasis, fifteen years of cooling; sounds like a cycle to me.  You know, that dynamic that is found throughout friggin' nature.  From the Gulf Stream to bird migration to Luna's orbit around Earth to the polarity of its magnetic field to axial precession to women's periods, and of course, let us not neglect to mention Sol's sunspot cycle, which has vastly more to do with influencing Terra's climate than anything poor, old, hopelessly arrogant homo sapiens could ever do.

But the blind guide zealots of Gaia are as stubborn as they are Magoo-esque:

The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, however, continues to insist that global warming has been caused by human greenhouse gas emissions as opposed to natural variability....

The question isn't when Greenstremists and their Obamunist propagandists are finally going to break down and admit their hideously grievous error, or better, confess their insidious, insipid plot to panic the West in general and the US in particular into unwittingly Sovietizing itself, but rather, how long it will be before they flip (back) over to shrieking, Chicken Little-like, about the wrenching, transformative, liberty-eradicating emergency steps we have to take to save civilization from the onrushing specter of "Snowball Earth"....



Either way, the Greenstremists will have us huddling in a cave, shivering and starving, praying to King Hussein that the killer leopard - or perhaps the Giant Andorian Polar Millipede - will seek its evening meal elsewhere in this glaciated wasteland that is, of course, all capitalism's fault.

Here's hoping killer leopards and Giant Andorian Polar Millipedes have a particular taste for BS.
