"Muffins and Lattes Don't React Too Well To Bullets"

by JASmius

Okay, so Howard Shultz makes a lousy Marko Ramius....

Starbucks CEO says guns are no longer welcome in its cafes, though it is stopping short of an outright ban on firearms.

Starbucks says its neither for or against guns but feel guns don't need to be a part of the Starbucks experience.

Tell you what Mr. CEO, I don't need or want to be a part of your Starbucks experience! Perhaps when someone shows up and takes out a bunch of your patrons you'll think differently about guns!

As for me and my house.... we gave up your liberal un-American coffee shops a while ago!

Well, I was already biased against Schultz as the aider and abettor of the theft of the Seattle SuperSonics five years back, I've never been a coffee drinker anyway, and if I was I wouldn't patronize Starbucks because they're too damned expensive and don't offer any confections but Styrofoam-esque muffins.  But all I can say is that if I was in a Starbucks for whatever unlikely reason and another Aaron Alexis burst in with the intent of indulging in a little target practice, I would feel a lot more confident of survival if the caffeine emporium wasn't a "gun-free zone".

Either that, or I could hide behind the muffins.
