SB 131 in California Goes to Governor Brown for Signature

As reported by my State Assemblywoman, Melissa Melendez:

It is with great sadness that I must report that SB131, the bill to extend the statute of limitations to sue the Catholic Church and Boy Scouts and other private institutions but NOT public institutions was passed by the assembly today and will go to the governor for signature.

On the surface, the democrats argue that SB131 is designed to enable the government, and prosecutors, to go after child molester priests, which on the surface is a good thing.  But think about what is going on, here.  Segments of the population are being singled out with a law, but other segments of the population are exempt from the law, which is in direct violation of the 14th Amendment's equal protection under the law clause.

Also, this is yet another example of how once again, the leftists are forcing their agenda on the public, and making opposition to their policies a criminal offense, while disguising it as something else.
