Reason TV’s Nick Gillespie offers four reasons why the speech failed:
Well, that's a start. But a speech that was originally intended to make a belatedly incomprehensible case for a belated, incomprehensible military action that became a belated incomprehensible el foldo to The Latest Hitler and Vladimir The Great - which is the only comprehensible aspect of this entire debacle - should not raise any expectation of logic, coherence, or fealty to actual American national security interests.
Unless you're Nancy Pelosi, I suppose; wonder what her grandson told her about that.
