At a Town Hall meeting a Syrian woman who lost a member of her family at the hands of the U.S. backed Syrian rebels that would benefit from a U.S. strike against Syria, one that AZ Senator John McCain supports, rips into him about spilling more Syria blood....
I don't share the lady's optimism about Maverick being able to single-handedly talk the Russians and Iranians into dropping their support for Boy Assad, but otherwise, she's spot on. Not too surprising that he blew her off in "I know better than you" fashion. He was probably eager to get back to the virtual poker table.
UPDATE: And then there always has to be some TPer who gets carried away, verbally poops his/her pants, and reinforces the cuckoo-for-cocoa-puffs image the Obamedia hangs around the neck of the entire movement:
Treason? Really? A man who survived seven years of torture in the Hanoi Hilton? Why stop with just arresting him? How about serving as judge, jury, and executioner as well, then take him out back of the town hall meeting facility and cap him like Old Yeller? That's guaranteed to put the Tea Party over with LIVs and NIVs, especially after the Obamedia gets through covering it.
Darth Queeg is many things - arrogant, ignorant, corrupt, disloyal, a lousy online grinnak player, perhaps even borderline warmongering - but a traitor he is not. Usage of such overheated rhetoric can only serve to discredit the user and everything he/she believes in and is fighting for. What this "gentleman" and the entire Tea Party movement needs is a mandatory crash course in Propaganda/Public Relations 101, because unless and until TPers learn (1) that they HAVE to play the game and (2) HOW to play it, their - OUR - cause is going precisely nowhere.
