Bestselling Author Tom Clancy Dead at 66

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Tom Clancy,  bestselling author of many political thrillers,  died in Baltimore yesterday at the age of 66.

The details of his novels were so accurate that at one time he was accused of having moles planted deep in the halls of Washington.

Known for books like The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games, Mr. Clancy's latest, Command Authority, is due to hit stores in December.

Clancy will be missed, but will live on in his novels.
