Wayne Dupree: Martin Bashir's Apology To Sarah Palin Is Crap

by JASmius

Dupree's right; it fits the long-recurring pattern of libs sneering horrible, vile, vicious things about conservatives and, after the backlash begins, holding up their hands and clucking, "Just kidding!  Can't you take a joke?" or pretending to apologize in an "I'm sorry if anybody was offended by my comments" kind of way, as if to suggest that nobody of their IQ level would be, but they'll pat our heads indulgently if it'll make us feel better, shut up, and go away.

That being said, I still to this day do not understand the stalker-esque obsession so many O-bots like Bashir have with Sarah Palin.  She hasn't held any public office in over four years, they themselves strangled any national political viability she may ever have had back in 2008, and it's starting to appear that she may not be seeking Mark Begich's senate seat next year after all.  She's no threat to them, at least not directly.  So....why does Martin Bashir care what Sarah Palin says about anything?  Does he even have the mental wattage to grasp that his reflexive boorishness where 'cuda is concerned makes him the most rabid of the dogs in Pavlov's kennel (this time, anyway)?  Or that the Republican-slayer probably amuses herself by making "controversial" public statements like the one likening the welfare state and concomitant runaway national debt to a "plantation" just to see which MSNBCCCPer will come up with the most despicable riposte, like a kid getting his kicks by poking a stick into a hornet's nest?

Nah, probably not.  I wonder if he's sorry about that, too?
