The newsworthy part of this story? It appears he's not Muslim:
Andrew Scott Boguslawski, 43, of Moores Hill, Ind., was arrested late New Year's Day on Interstate 70 west of Columbus. Investigators said they found two pistols, two rifles, 48 explosive devices and tools and materials to make additional explosives.
Also inside was a remote detonating device, Assistant Madison County Prosecutor Nick Adkins said.
“The majority of the devices I would not classify as high tech, but some of the devices were set up to be activated with the remote detonator,” Adkins said.
According to the state trooper who stopped him for going 85 mph in a 70 mph zone, Boguslawski said he had no weapons. However, the officer returned with a ticket and saw the handle of a gun between the man's knees.
"At that point, he drew his service weapon, held the man there and called for backup," Adkins said.
WLWT News 5's Jackie Congedo confirmed that Boguslawski was a member of the Indiana National Guard and has training in military intelligence.
National Guard officials said Boguslawski enlisted in Pennsylvania in 1999, and transferred to units in Ohio and Tennessee before joining the Indiana National Guard in 2007.
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms officials said they searched Boguslawski's home last week. They're not releasing information about what they found, if anything at all.
Boguslawski's neighbor, who asked not to be identified, said she has had concerns about him for years.
"(I'm) glad that somebody's getting to the bottom of it because it's like I've told other people, it's pretty dangerous not knowing where the ammunition is going. A lot of the neighbors are really concerned," one woman said. "We've heard a lot of explosions, a lot of neighbors have heard it. I know he makes explosives."
Nowhere in the report does it mention Boguslawski's political affiliation, so I'm assuming he's either apolitical or a Democrat. We're supposed to assume he's a Tea Partier, of course, because he's military. Depending on how big this story grows - and a loopy soldier joyriding down an interstate with an entire arsenal of domestic terrorism goodies in his trunk stands a good chance of attracting national attention from an Obamedia desperate for anything to suck the oxygen away from the ObamaCare cataclysm and into another of their moribund issues - I'm sure they'll find or just make up some "right-wing" friend or family member they can tap for "guilt" by association.
Hopefully Dan Hedaya won't get calls from the authorities asking if Boguslawski is his evil twin.
He has the College Republicans listed on his LinkedIn page.
