Well, duh; he's a Sandanista communist. Hiking taxes on the "1%" will be the least of his atrocities, as the Big Apple's tax base will hemorrhage to surrounding environs, the city's finances will go the way of Detroit, and the "greatest city in the world" will collapse into comprehensive ruin.
But we have to remember one very important thing: the voters of Gotham elected this pinko. They could have been entertained for the next four years by electing Turgid Tony Weiner, but they chose instead to be as "progressive" as they wanna be. And now they'll pay the price for their foolishness and error, without a "Dark Knight" to come to their rescue.
