Hillary Clinton Distances Herself From Obama

by JASmius

Lotsa luck with that one, your Majesty.  I used to try to distance myself from my enormous gut a few years ago, and for some reason I never had any success despite numerous, desperate attempts.  The problem was resolved only when I got rid of my enormous gut, after which everything was fine.

What the Empress is attempting to do, of course, is substitute one enormous gut for another:

Just over a year after leaving her job as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton has offered views on foreign policy that analysts said seem part of an effort to distance herself from the Obama administration as she prepares a possible 2016 White House run.

In appearances this month, Clinton struck a hawkish tone on issues including Iran and Russia, even while expressing broad support for the work done by Obama and her successor as secretary of state, John Kerry.
Stop the tape.  How does one simultaneously distance oneself from one's intended predecessor while "broadly" supporting one's intended predecessor's and direct successor's work?  That's like swearing off sugared soda and then downing eight hundred cans of low-cal root beer a day.  "His policies suck but I support them"; only Bill Clinton could pull off that level of bovine scatology.  And Hillary! ain't no Bill.

Clinton said in New York on Wednesday night she was "personally skeptical" of Iran's commitment to reaching a comprehensive agreement on its nuclear program.

"I've seen their behavior over (the) years," she said, saying that if the diplomatic track failed, "every other option does remain on the table."

Stop the tape.  So she has always been "personally" skeptical, but in her official capacity she was a faithful dumbass?  Izzat anything like, "I personally oppose abortion, but I officially support a woman's 'right to choose'"?  What's the point of having personal opinions if they aren't the basis for your actions?  Power?  What good is power if you don't use it for what you believe in?  Wealth?  She's already filthy stinking rich - hell, she's a Democrat.

Just two weeks earlier, Clinton was forced to backtrack after she drew parallels between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler at a closed-door fundraiser. In comments leaked to the media by a local reporter who attended the event, Clinton said Putin's justifications for his actions in the Crimean region were akin to moves Hitler made in the years before World War Two.

"I'm not making a comparison, certainly, but I am recommending that we can perhaps learn from this tactic that has been used before," she said the next day at an event in Los Angeles.

Stop the tape.  So was Hillary!'s very apt parallel of Putin's justifications vis-a-vie Crimea and Ukraine to Hitler's vis-a-vie Sudentland and Czechoslovakia a personal opinion or an official one?  And, just for the record, oh, yes you are making the comparison, you cow.  You would never have gone godwinn like you did otherwise.  Which suggests that it is a personal opinion, and her backtrack is the official opinion.  Why Mrs. Clinton should care whether her personal opinion got out - which really would constitute significant distancing of herself from O - is baffling, unless Vlad Putin has an official position in the Democrat Party that we don't know about.

As secretary of state, Clinton was a key player in a U.S. effort to reset relations with Russia, a policy that critics say now appears to be a glaring failure.
Aaaaaand that, among many other similar factors, is why Hillary Clinton will never, EVER successfully distance herself from Barack Hussein Obama [hmm-hmm-hmm].  How could she?  Benghazi alone will deny her the presidency, and more than likely the Donk nomination as well.  I have to wonder if even Mr. Bill could have overcome those obstacles.

I do have to admit one thing, though - Mrs. Clinton doesn't constitute substituting one enormous gut for another; it's more like substituting for an enormous gut a gargantuan ass, with titanic thighs to match.  And the latter is far more terrifying than the former, no matter what my doctor says.
