Why No One Wants To Hack For The US Government

by JASmius

The FBI and Pentagon plan to hire 6,000 cybersecurity professionals by 2016, but they're having a really rough time recruiting people to work for them. There could be many reasons why - low pay, not enough American-born resources - but it all might really come down to one thing: that the US treats hackers as the worst possible criminals. So why would a hacker want to work for them? The Resident discusses.

Might it not also be a matter of trust?  (1) Most hackers tend to be young people; (2) young people tend to be big on privacy; (3) the Obama Regime's domestic spying has put off the young people that once worshipped Red Barry as a demigod.  Now that same Regime wants them to do that same dirty work for him?  Awfully tough sell, that.
