To spin the unspinnable, to excuse the inexcusable - maybe Beckel is just getting too old for such strenuous prevaricating. Shoveling with a backhoe is a game for the young, after all.
Forget Beckel - although his plaintive struggle to try and protect O was very educational, Greg Gutfield was the star of this segment. Also not surprisingly, Beckel is probably half a century older than anybody else on that stage. He might want to think about hanging up his forked tongue.
