Well, at least they haven't used that excuse in a while.
Also, at least Lurch (and Sick Willie, and Red Barry, etc., etc. etc.) appears to be tacitly acknowledging that Boko Haram is a terrorist group - which, having kidnapped three hundred young girls into sex slavery and massacred the remainder of their village, would be rather difficult to avoid. Problem is, he also appears to be saying that Boko Haram should be moved to the top of the foreign aid recipient list.
But this is one of the two invariant leftwingnut reactions to anything: If they can use a situation to demonize and dehumanize and "other-ize" and destroy an enemy, they go hate-berserk; otherwise, they'll finagle some way to shovel gobs and gobs of money at it. And either way, they'll lie until their necks can't hold their noses up.
If Boko Haram had a single Christian in its ranks, do you suppose John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, etc., etc., etc. might consider it worth mentioning?
