It is frightening to be a young person in today's society. In the colleges, even saying "you guys" can be met with scorn in our oversensitive, politically correct world. Mixed messages fill their lives, and the apocalypse seems to always be on the horizon with the doom and gloom of global warming, heavy regulation by a growing government into their lives, and a massive national debt that will fall upon their shoulders for repayment. The younger generation was brought up to believe all of the liberal doom and gloom being taught to them in the public school, and have become convinced (thanks to the indoctrination) that the only way to save the world is through bigger government, and ultimately, enslavement.
The anxiety is enough to drive the generation, for lack of a politically correct word, completely nuts.
The males don't know if to act like a man, or be more feminine. Sexual confusion swarms through the ranks, and morality has been determined to be immoral. The family unit is being replaced by a village, but the village is full of village idiots. And when they finally recede back into the corner, with their technological device, it turns out the government is spying on them, and is zeroing in on their location.
It is enough to make a generation scream, "Enough!"
The younger generation is become more and more suspicious of the liberal left, and they are realizing the dangerous precedent the big government crazies are pushing on them. But their anger does not necessarily steer that generation towards sanity, or the principles this nation was founded upon. That generation needs to be retrieved.
Conservatives speak about turning this nation around, pursuing the principles that made this nation the prosperous super-power that it is. Yet, in all of our fight to protect the free market, preserve State sovereignty, and promote the foundational principles articulated in the Declaration of Independence, and the United States Constitution, it seems that we have missed the boat on a couple ingredients. There are two aspects of our fight to turn this all around we don't seem to be taking into account in our recipe of solutions.
I often comment that I appreciate the fact that when I speak at events the response is always positive, and that folks are energized by my speeches, but why is it that everyone is older than me? Where is the younger generation?
Hope and Change turned out to be Fear and Change to failed political philosophies.
It turns out that Climate Change is not mankind's fault, the climate has changed throughout history based on the whims of the Sun. Freedom is best served without government interference. Hope is only achieved through divine providence.
Oh, and those two aspects we need to take into account in our recipe for solutions?
First, teach and energize the younger generations, and second, return to the value based systems given to us by Divine Providence. The founders were problems solvers, and advocates. We need to teach the next generation to be the same. Otherwise, Ronald Reagan's words will be more than a historical quote. . .
