Ohio Bartender Planned To Assassinate John Boehner

by JASmius

I'm torn between two ledes for this story: "The one golf course Barack Obama never plays" and "Democrats and Tea Partiers crushed":

Among the reasons driving the alleged assassination plot: Michael Hoyt heard voices that told him Boehner was evil.

So Hoyt was a Democrat.  Or a Tea Partier.  Or both.

He thought the Ohio Republican was the devil. He blamed Boehner for the Ebola outbreak.

Okay, DEFINITELY a Democrat....

And he thought the speaker was mean to him.

....with a touch of SpongeBob Squarepants.

The 44-year-old Butler County, Ohio, man was indicted last week on charges that he planned to murder Boehner — a plan that he made after being fired from the Wetherington Golf & Country Club in West Chester.

The Wetherington Golf & Country Club fired Hoyt, and he was going to off Boehner for it?  Geez, even when Carl Spackler got pissed in Caddyshack, he didn't go postal on Tip O'Neill, and was only going to hamstring Judge Smails.

The story of Hoyt’s arrest was first reported by WCPO in Cincinnati.

Not WKRP?  Wow, they must finally be slipping.

According to a complaint filed in federal court in Cincinnati and obtained by CNN, police learned the details of his alleged plans after Hoyt called officers on October 29th.

“Hoyt told the officer he was Jesus Christ....

So he thought he was Obama, too?

....and he was going to kill Boehner because Boehner was mean to him at the country club and because Boehner is responsible for Ebola,” United States Capitol Police Special Agent Christopher Desrosiers reported. “Hoyt advised he had a loaded Beretta .380 automatic and he was going to shoot Boehner and take off.”

Gee, I wonder what Mr. Hoyt thought of House Tea Partiers' last pathetic "coup attempt".

If I were Louis Gohmert, Ted Yoho, or Steve King, I'd stay as far away from bars as the Speaker should.
