Because illegally harvesting and selling unborn baby organs is "reproductive health and liberty" - and a CON-STI-TUTIONAL RIGHT, dontcha know - but publicly exposing this macabre crimes-against-humanity profiteering is the vilest capital crime. Plus, Miss Harris has a Senate seat to win next year. For her, this is probably a case of "1A/1B":
California Attorney General Kamala Harris said Friday that she plans to review undercover videos released by [pro-life] activists aimed at discrediting Planned Parenthood's procedures for providing fetal tissue to researchers to see if any laws were broken.
The videos aren't "discrediting" Planned Parenthood's procedures for fetal tissue trafficking; fetal tissue trafficking is AGAINST THE LAW and the videos are exposing that because animals like Kamala Harris won't enforce those laws. There's no "credit" to "dis".
Although in "America's Greece," the absence of any proscription against "Planned Parenthood Baby Nuggets" frozen entrees in your grocer's freezer wouldn't entirely shock me. They'd probably just recycle old Gerber's labels.
Harris announced the move in a letter to four members of Congress who had requested an investigation, saying she'll use her office's authority to regulate charity organizations to see if the organization that made the videos violated registration or reporting requirements, or broke any other rules. Harris, a Democrat, plans to run for the U.S. Senate in 2016.
Time for the naked, vicious, punitive, anti-whistleblower witchhunt. Because an angry Molech....

And bears a striking resemblance to Miss Harris, come to think of it.
"We will carefully review the allegations raised in your letter to determine whether there were any violations of California law," Harris said in the letter to four members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
But PP can continue to feed fetuses through woodchippers and distribute the pulped remains to their nationwide chain of "PP Baby Buffet" restaurants. Gotcha.
She said her office will look into "allegations that individuals impersonated corporate officials from a fake biologics company, resulting in the release of secretly-filmed videos of Planned Parenthood physicians without their consent." [emphasis added]
OF COURSE it was "without their consent". It wouldn't be a "sting" video if they had to ask their bleeping permission in advance, now would it? Holy VSauce, the leftwingnut media does this sort of thing to conservatives, Christians, business owners, etc., etc., etc. all the time. In their case, it's called "going undercover" and "investigative journalism". "Muckraking" was the term they used for it in the old days. The purpose being to bring outrageous criminal wrongdoing (or, rather, what the Left considers to be outrageous, criminal wrongdoing) out of the shadows and expose it to the light of public attention and scrutiny. In this case, the Center For Medical Progress has turned that time-honored, traditional, core investigative function of a First Amendment-protected free press against one of the Left's own sacred (i.e. wicked), government-funded, zombie shibboleths to devastating effect, a public hue and cry has gone up to pull the plug on that government subsidizing, and leftwingnuts are going batshit insane with avenging devil rage.
Because investigative journalism against the Obamunist elite ruling class flagrantly violates "the order of things". And now California reichsfuhrer Molech Harris has been dispatched to restore that order.
But like I always remind our side of the aisle, if you "Fight! Fight! Fight!" for what's right, this is the kind of massive retaliation you can expect to incur. I trust the CMP knew what they were getting into, and are prepared to endure the harrowing consequences that their targets/pursuers never will.
