ISIS Massing To Invade Turkey

by JASmius

They're rolling up Syrian territory and villages and towns right up to the border.  What reason do they have to stop there?:

Islamic State (ISIS) militants have seized new territory from "Syrian rebels" [eyeroll] in northern Syria, advancing in an area where Turkey and the United States [had been] planning to open a new front against the group.

In other words, ISIS has preempted us there.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a U.K.-based group tracking the war, said it had seized five villages, including two near the Turkish border, from "other Syrian insurgents." [sigh]

The Islamic State announced it had captured three villages in the area and said its fighters had nearly encircled the "rebel"-held town of Marea, some twenty kilometers (twelve miles), south of the Turkish border.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told Reuters on Monday that the two NATO allies would soon launch "comprehensive" air operations to flush ISIS fighters from the border region.

Uh-huh.  Like the cavalcade of pin-pricks has "flushed" ISIS troops from the rest of Syria and most of Iraq.

But don't worry, we're "on the offensive" against ISIS and "have them on the run".

I'd wager ISIS will control most of Turkey by the end of the year and be threatening to open a second front in Europe across the Bosphorus.
